PRIVACY POLICY.
Information we collect
Name, email, phone, program interest, preferred location, student age, and messages you submit.
We also collect limited website and campaign information, including page paths, referring domains, campaign parameters, advertising click IDs, and interactions such as button clicks and form starts.
How we use it
To respond, schedule classes, deliver requested resources, and improve services.
Text messaging and consent records
When you separately select the optional customer-care text-message checkbox on our contact form, first-class request popup, or Program Finder quiz, Joao Crus BJJ (Joao Crus Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) may send recurring automated non-promotional messages about your request, scheduling, and class information. When you separately select the optional promotional text-message checkbox on our contact form or first-class request popup, we may send recurring automated marketing messages about academy programs, offers, and events. Each choice is independent. Selecting one does not grant consent for the other. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can submit a request without opting in to texts.
We retain consent status, timestamp, source page, and disclosure version as needed to document your choice and honor SMS opt-out and do-not-contact settings. Opting out stops further program messages except an opt-out confirmation. Submitting another form does not automatically remove an existing SMS opt-out.
Mobile information, mobile phone numbers, text-message opt-in data, and messaging consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process this information solely to deliver and operate our messaging service on our behalf, not for their own marketing. Consent is not shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. These SMS limits also apply to the provider disclosures below.
See our SMS messaging terms and text-message opt-in options. For help, use the contact details below or reply HELP to a program message.
Data security practices
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These include HTTPS for website transmission, access controls for systems that process inquiries, and limiting access to personnel and service providers who need the information to perform their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Analytics, regional choices, and attribution
We use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and the Meta Pixel to understand site use, measure advertising, and improve campaign relevance. Tracking begins only after a country-level region lookup resolves. For visitors outside the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, analytics and advertising technologies are enabled by default and can be turned off or adjusted through the Privacy choices control in the website footer.
Visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked before optional analytics or advertising technologies are enabled. If the country-level region lookup fails or returns an unknown location, optional tracking remains off and the same choice is shown. The lookup is provided by Country.is. We use only the returned two-letter country code to select the applicable privacy behavior and do not store the returned IP address or precise location in the website. Your category choices are saved in first-party browser preference storage, including a strictly necessary consent cookie retained for up to one year, so they are available when the next page starts.
When analytics or advertising measurement is enabled, non-PII campaign attribution may be stored in your browser for up to 90 days so an inquiry can be connected to the campaign that led to it. Contact details and message text submitted through a form are not intentionally included in analytics or advertising events. Advertising may involve Google Ads and Meta receiving browser and device data, page activity, and non-PII campaign identifiers for measurement and personalization. We honor Global Privacy Control by keeping advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization off. Turning a category off updates Google Consent Mode, revokes Meta consent when applicable, clears accessible first-party cookies for that category, and reloads the page when necessary so disabled tags do not continue running. It does not prevent you from contacting us.
When optional measurement is enabled, HighLevel may replace our main website phone number with a temporary tracking number. This helps us connect a call with the website visit or campaign that produced it. HighLevel may process the caller's phone number plus call source, time, status, and duration. Call recording is disabled.
Providers
We use Google for website analytics and advertising measurement, Meta for advertising measurement and personalization, Country.is for country-level region selection, and HighLevel or LeadConnector for customer management and call attribution. We may also use booking, email, payment, and membership providers to operate the services you request. Information is shared only as needed for those services.
