“I enrolled both of my children into Joao Crus’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class a couple of months ago, and I’m so glad I did. The instructors are absolutely fantastic and down to earth. Not only are they teaching our kids the art of Jiu-Jitsu, but they’re also helping build confidence, discipline, and character along the way. We couldn’t be happier with the progress we’ve seen, and we hope to keep our kids enrolled for many years to come. Highly recommended!”

Little Champions: Ages 4-7
Where big feelings learn brave moves
Your little one is at the most important stage of their development, and it goes way beyond learning to roll or fall safely. In Little Champions, we meet them exactly where they are.
Every class is designed around emotional readiness first. Before we ever teach a technique, we teach your child how to listen to their body, manage frustration, and feel proud of small wins.
Confidence through play
structured games that build body awareness and courage without pressure
Emotional vocabulary
kids learn to name and regulate feelings on and off the mat
Safe boundaries
understanding personal space and how to say “stop” with clarity.
Classes are small, nurturing, and parent-friendly, you’ll see the difference in the first week.
Junior Warriors: Ages 8-12
Train hard. Think deeper. Rise stronger.
This is where kids stop just playing sports and start discovering who they are. Junior Warriors is built for the age when peer pressure, school stress, and self-doubt show up hard, and kids need real tools to face them.
We combine real BJJ technique with intentional character development. Your child will learn to solve problems under pressure, compete with sportsmanship, and walk taller every day.
Real technique, real progress
structured belt curriculum with visible milestones to chase
Resilience under pressure
controlled sparring teaches kids to stay calm when things get hard.
Leadership by example
older kids mentor newer students, building responsibility
Parents consistently tell us: “My kid walks differently now.” That’s what 25+ years of teaching this age group looks like.
Kids learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu through fun, age-appropriate drills and games. We teach basic positions, escapes, and self-defense skills while building confidence, respect, and self-control. Classes focus on emotional regulation, boundary-setting, and positive social interaction, using movement and technique to help kids understand their feelings and develop healthy relationships with others.
