Rest assured Joao Crus Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is proactively monitoring the situation locally, and taking preventative measures advised by the CDC, Austin Public Health, and DSHS.
Our plan
Our planning closely follows their guidelines, which indicate low risk exposure. The health and safety of our attendees and the broader community is our utmost priority and we will continue to monitor events and provide updates on our website if needed.
JCBJJ will continue its normal schedule and has NOT cancelled classes. We are doing our part by:
– Doing daily studio cleanings- Ensuring hand soap and paper towels are readily available to studio visitors- Encouraging those who feel unwell to remain at home
How can you help though?
– Regularly washing your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
– Avoid touching any part of your face without having washed or sanitized your hands with an alcohol-based sanitizer
– Cough or sneeze into your elbow rather than hands and away from others
– Stay at home from school or work if you’re not feeling well
